He turned away from her, an abrupt motion, and walked out the door. Not once did he look back. Briony knew because she watched him through the window, all the way, until he was out of sight.   Briony

I just finished Conspiracy Game, and….(let me grab a kleenex and finishing dabbing my eyes) tear-jerker ALERT! Also, let me give a shout-out to the Norton brothers! I was hoping to know them better. Remember, I am reading the series blind – I refuse to ruin the surprise by looking ahead to see what each book is about!

Jack Norton’s story, and Ken’s really (hello twins), prior to their military career, is absolute heartache. Christine Feehan, yet again, has shown unparalleled skill for provoking deep feeling in her readers. The cruelty the boys survived is the canvas in which these two Ghostwalkers were born.

I wouldn’t name Briony and Jack two peas in a pod. They are reminiscent of a deer, and well, a sniper hungry for venison. The camaraderie that developed between the twins and Briony was a treat, though Briony had quite a feat trying to tame the Jack Beast. I will not say it was my favorite so far – ok, whatever, I will. It’s my favorite so far – BUT I know Ken’s story has to be coming (please let it be next) and it may top Conspiracy Game

I hope you are enjoying my trip through Ghostwalker Lane! If you would like to purchase this book, please help support my site and use the link below!! See you soon.
