In preparation for Netflix’s adaption of Leigh Bardugo’s Shadow and Bone saga (releasing on #Netflix April 23, 2021), I am gobbling up all things Grishaverse!
There are thousands of reviews claiming that the Shadow and Bone trilogy doesn’t hold a candle to the Six of Crows duology – I paid little heed… until I finished Six of Crows! It took about a third of the book to fully warm to the new cast, but when I did, I was like, Shadow and Bone who??? Obsession equals Kaz, Inej, Jesper, Nina, Matthias, and Wylan – I’m all death to the Drüskelle and long live the Dregs!
Leigh Bardugo is every reader’s fix if they suffer FPP (Fantasy prone personality – this is actually a thing…)! Discovering this author’s Grishaverse has been a brilliant light to follow.
